the girls went to the farthest side of the beach and enjoyed swimming, surfing, snorkeling and, of course, eating. oh, to be so free roaming in the sunshine. no boys to bugger them, and grandmere summerfield, well, she's back in toronto basking in the snow and cold weather.
then colie koala wanted to cool out underneath her umbrella but her blue umbrella was nowhere to be found. then linda panda, who was enjoying sliding up and down the big seashell, noticed that little wahoo's car had a flat tire. to top it all their bags were missing from the car.
suddenly there was a big downpour. for a moment they forgot the flat tire, the missing blue umbrella (which i actually just forgot where i put it down hehehe so it has to be part of the story now, hasn't it?) and the vanishing bags. they jumped up and down and enjoyed the long-awaited rain. they were shouting at the top of their voices when suddenly, jerica giraffe noticed one thing.
"hey, wait a minute!" said jerica.
"what?" asked little wahoo.
"what?" asked colie.
jerica furrowed her brows and shook her head slowly. "it's raining hard and there's not a cloud in the sky!"
"huh?" chorused linda, little wahoo and colie.
linda's eyes widened in surprise. "whoa! isn't that cool!"
"no, it isn't," said jerica.
"that only means one thing," mused colie.
little wahoo looked at each of them rather warily.
"and may i know what that is, miss colie?" linda slowly slid off from the top of the big shell.
and that's when they all noticed the green umbrella lurking in the trees. they looked at each other, eyes wide in amazement as they stared at the very dry green umbrella behind the trees.
and they exclaimed all at once: "witchy witchita!"
