the challenge this week is what kind of photos would i want to hang in a restaurant? this would be on the wall of a coffee shop, the simple mom and pop operation, that serves an all-day breakfast.
This makes me want to have an egg. I don't like it when you get that greenish grey edging to the yolk. I know it doesn't really change the taste but it makes me think it has!
I've been researching the best way to boil eggs for years! Cooking slowly makes them more creamy. Every egg has a different size and so cannot rely on time advice. One thing I haven't tried is to roll them briefly after cooking and putting them into iced water - easy to peel! Boiled eggs look so good with any dish (unless you have a stepdaughter who can't eat eggs) Your one is cooked a wee bit much for me - I like a middle that is very soft!
looks quite a bit classier than most breakfast joints. (oh, I see that observation has already been made). Perhaps we'll just have to eat in. I think you qualify as a food stylist.
I think this is a fabulous image of an egg! It is toogoodto go on the wall of a mom and pop! It belongs on the wall of a fine dining establishment!
Why shouldn't a Mom & Pop shop be a little on the classy side? I like it! And I like hard-boiled eggs too.
