the flipside

of yesterday's get-pushed entry. this time using a black background with the soft box on the left. i misted the rose for the shot. i think i used a sheet of foil on the right to get the outline.

i like minimalist photography, i think. and i think the high key from yesterday's shot works better. whaja think?

I do like high key but actually prefer this shot. It has an air of mystery about it. Love the water drops too

Congrats again on PP! I prefer this one. It looks a little more alive. On the high key image, the leaves are drooping which tends to give it a dead look.

I prefer this one I think, the waterdrops are more visible here and the colors of the rose pop out of the black background.
