the light today was again beautiful like yesterday. bright sunshine, clear blue skies. but as yesterday, it was bone chilling cold, despite the prediction of plus 9 temps. the little wind though made it seem like it was the middle of winter. i went out at lunch and didn't put on my vest and my ear muffs, and my five street shots would attest to the fact that it was biting cold and i wasn't going to run the risk of getting sick.
i like this shot with half the frame in shadows and half bathed in the bright sunlight, the shadows of the trash bin and the light standard and the pièce de résistance are the two shadows of the passersby which, at first sight, look like just one person.
