Up extremely early to see M off as she's flying to Madrid. Only problem was, checking Citymapper, the Piccadilly line was experiencing critical severe delays. Dave drove her to the station and she decided to go to Paddington and get the Heathrow Express.
Couldn't really get back to sleep after that and had to be up to cycle to Zumba anyway so not as relaxing a morning as yesterday. After the class, cycled to the village to check out the improvements to the church (couldn't go in as they were having a service - so unreasonable ;-)) but found some signs of spring in the churchyard.
Picked up a little top-up shopping and came home for lunch of spinach borek and an afternoon swearing at the laptop which was on a go-slow. Dave did useful things in the garden.
Spicy lentil and carrot soup for supper which I cooked earlier so Dave could have something to take for lunch. It's given a spark of interest by serving with onion bhajis.
3 good things
1. Spring is springing - possibly the best season.
2. M texted to say she'd got to the airport and through security well in time to have a coffee.
3. Dave's Fitbit broke, so we've ordered him a new one - good value in Argos and can collect tomorrow. He's been using mine to log his sleep scores.
