And doing the crossword or checking your messages ... or just watching the passers-by. Returning home with a new suitcase, I didn't want to walk back with it, so waited for the bus.
Busy non-working day - doing meal prep for next week (leek and chickpea soup) and shopping for suitcases. Ended up going to John Lewis and still not convinced I've got what I wanted (wanted something a bit bigger than cabin size but not that much bigger).
Also found Dave an achingly expensive perfume from Acqua di Parma for his birthday.
3 good things
1. We missed the worst of Storm Noa - pretty bad further south of us and not great in the west https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-devon-65249185
2. John Lewis was nice and busy - you do worry about the fate of our traditional department stores.
3. Used up a lot of veg in the fridge that we've not been eating - in the soup, and in a salad for lunch and our halloumi peppers supper.
