Nature reserve

That's how I described our garden to the neighbours the other day - the dead nettles and viper's bugloss have gone crazy, but hey, the bumblebees love them. Dave doing a few odd bits after work in the evening warmth.

Ridiculously anxious again today - catastrophising constantly. Wish I could be rid of it. Worked from home and we finally got a thunderstorm albeit short-lived. Quite heavy for a short while (cue panicking about leaks). M the new starter didn't log in first thing - eventually she called to say she'd overslept. Hope that's not a bad sign.

Dropped by the flat after work - windows are lovely but shame, several patches of plaster came off when the old ones were removed. Easy enough to fill - it's finding paint to match that will be harder.

1. Petrichor - not just the rain bringing out the smells, but the warmth.
2. Caught up with the Boris shenanigans - hadn't really followed much of what went on at the weekend - can he be gone for good?
3. New windows.

Lovely capture, and I can imagine the lavender coming into bloom soon. Love the word petrichor ... a favourite of mine.
