Nearly finished

It doesn't look like it but the park is nearly finished. I have been moaning about the loss of our park for ages as it closed, with the William Morris Gallery, for renovation over a year ago. And they bloody well didn't need to close the whole park, but they did (apart from the boring playing field at the back).

Well, I've seen publicity to say that the gallery is reopening on the 2nd August, so I emailed the council to see if the park was opening the same time or if it would be later - and the nice lady emailed back to say it would actually be sooner! In time for the Olympics so by the 27th. I am so damned excited I can tell you.

More very short sharp showers today - and amazing roiling skies full of huge puffy clouds. Dave said they had an inch of hailstones.

About bleeding time - I have to say it doesn't look quite ready...

@fueast - I think this bit might be being turfed over - there are lots of plants ready to go in round the other side of the wall.

I like all the textures and lines... and it leaves me wondering iat first glance if it is doomed to being torn down or newly built?
