Waiting for the tube. One of those irritating days when everyone, but everyone, wants to invade your personal space: from the woman at Walthamstow this morning who jumped on the escalator behind me and leaned into me as we descended (not even the left-hand lane was moving due to the sheer volume of people) to the woman this evening who decided to rest her carrier bags of shopping on my knee (no worries, I dumped my rucksack in her lap, but hey, why should I have to go to such lengths?)
Sorry, it did actually rain today but summer is actually arriving on Sunday according to the latest Met Office forecast.
Popped into the choir end-of-term drinks this evening - quiet, but quite pleasant, and very nice food and a tab behind the bar (one of the committee was leaving so she'd treated us, very kind).
That is some skirt too, I think she is trying to will the summer upon us! Great sense of speed you have there with the blur of the train. I hate it when people invade my space but in the city I expect it's not uncommon with all that commuting.
