Seven years of waiting, but finally, tomorrow, I'm going to the Olympics in my hometown! Excited doesn't come into it. Some random athletic heats and qualifiers on a Wednesday morning, but who cares, we'll probably see Mo Farah.
Another good day of medals with the triathlon, dressage and Laura Trott's omnium win. But was a real pleasure to watch Chris Hoy win splendidly and bow out as the country's greatest Olympian. And the chap from Grenada picking up his country's first Olympic medal.
Love this shot and you're going to have a brilliant time. We had a few random hockey tickets (so I thought) and it was a really really great experience - and being in the athletics stadium will be just heaven!!
Hope you have an awesome time!! Mo is pretty awesome!! Ya know, I cried (tears of joy) when he won the 10000 meter...then he & the US guy hugged...and I cried some more, then he hugged his daughter and I just lost it!! So happy for him :) Hope you do get to see him!
Oh how I envy you Isla & lovely to see properly the illusive tickets. Do you know how long you can sit in your seats or are they timed, say morning or afternoon? Anyway enjoy & don't forget your camera!!!!
