This youngster has a London 2012 t-shirt on and him and his little friends are obviously all taken with Olympic fever - they were racing each other and timing themselves. Let's hope he keeps up with the sport. Had lunch here in the William Morris Gallery tea room.
More decluttering today - it's the big one - the spare room - or no-room to be precise. There is a tiny little 1-foot across corridor of clear space from the spare room door to the computer - everywhere else is piled up high with stuff and boxes. This is not going to take a day - or two, or three probably ... but need to start somewhere ...
Normal service resumed today - a gold and bronze in the horses-doing-peculiar-things-to-music competition. And a gold for Nicola Adams in the flyweight boxing - the first time women's boxing has featured in the Olympics. I'm not keen on people hitting each other for sport but it was quite thrilling. Looks like we've got at least a silver in the Taekwondo too.
Really great with the reflection. Parts of my house sound a bit like your spare room - have you thought about getting that hoarders programme in ;0)
I am desperately trying to convince my eldest son that something involving a horse could be considered a sport and that prancing to music thing came on....... He's convinced that the horses just make it up
I loved that skipping horse - took me right back to Adam being three years old - he was a lovely skipper. Loving the reflection and another good day for Leeds!
Yes more lovely gold medals today...we might even pass the USA at this rate !!!!!!! More medals for Yorkshire ! Lovely little boy photo & we have been de cluttering today too !
Nice one of the little boy!
Our no-space spare room was like yours, but most of it belonged to our three children who have long since left home. We decided we wanted the space so that we could have guests - and delivered loadsa stuff to its reluctant owners!
love the "horses doing strange thisngs to music"....I caught that on the update first thing this mornign and thought maybe I was still asleep and halucinating! How do you get a horse to do that??? can't beileve the decluttering still continues, that's a LOT of decluttering! love the reflection in this - it's almost a brain bender shot
@sparkle - we're onto the hard stuff now - have just managed to clear another tiny corner of the spare room today. It's because we are really going through everything (and there's a lot of everything) in minute detail - rather than just keep sweeping things under the carpet. I'm feeling almost hayfevery with the dust!
