I think this is my favorite capture of May so far...I had to lay down along the creek to capture him at this level, and later in the evening, discovered I had picked up a tick for my efforts...
I rather like this one as it was candid and spur of the moment, and at least for me captures the essence of how I usually shoot; solo and surrounded by nature's splendor.
Such a hard choice, I've been fortunate enough to have 4 PP photos this month, but my pic of the month must be the one I sold, my first ever! Heres hoping for many more : )
This one. Two more eggs hatched after this but then unfortunately a couple of days later we found the nest destroyed and no sign of the chicks :o( I'm glad I took these shots when I did
@meisen325 Yeah, she's wearing a thundershirt (a compression shirt), and that helps... but she still shudders and sometimes whimpers & howls like she thinks the house is about to collapse on her head and demons will rush in and tear her to shreds (yes, I have a vivid imagination, but so does she! ;)). I got desperate and called the vet and they prescribed some meds for her.
For the record, she's a rescue dog and we live in Florida (which means pop up showers every afternoon and hurricane season every summer/fall) so I don't know what she's been through before I got her. I just feel so bad for her!
Thanks for the advice, I'll try adding a blanket/towel next time and see if I can make storms less tortuous for her. :)
Three of my May photos managed to get into PP luckily, but I prefer this one as my favorite. My first time to clone out people in a picture. Editing is really interesting. Just hoping I could find time to learn more.
This is the one that stands out in my mind because the sun shone all day, and we haven't seen much of it this year! It's a bit cluttered though, and if I were doing it again I would use fewer insets and display them a bit better.
This was a tough one as I had quite a few this month I liked but this one is slightly more a fav than the others, not my most popular & didn't make it to the PP but I love it :
Wow, some awesome shots in this thread. May seems to have been a good month for 365ers. I can't really say the same, but well... life will get better eventually and the pics will reflect that :)
Here is mine, it says summer to me.
This is a garden made up into an overgrown and abandoned version of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
Olympic torch relay..waiting patiently
It's a tough one, but I choose this one.
This is my poor pup during a thunderstorm (she's miserable).
I learned a ton in May!

I took a look back and even though i had a few others that I liked this one touched My Heart the Most and I will never forget this moment!
here is mine,
