The theme for January will be....”Close-up”
Congratulations to Merrelyn @merrelyn who won the last monthly theme “Out n About” and she selected January’s Close-up theme.
This could be Macro photography but doesn’t need to be. It is getting close and personal, such as a close-up of a face, water splashes, details of fruit, etc. OR put your own spin & twist on the words “close-up”. Filling the frame, composition are all keys for this month’s theme.
How to enter the January’s theme
When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organize screen) and insert this week's theme tag: "theme-January2024"
Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded between Monday, January 1st and Wednesday, January 31st. 6 finalists will be chosen in the first couple of days February, then you'll get to vote for the winner! The winner will select March’s theme.

It wasn't easy to choose only 6 finalists, but it's now over to you to vote for the winner.
To cast your vote, just reply to this post and select the number (in digit form) of the photo you would like to see win, before January 15th. We’ll announce the winner in a separate post shortly after!
@myhrhelper _ Kathy, you might want to change the tag for January's theme to something else. The tag "Close-up" has been used before. Of course, all the resent posts will be at the beginning.
