remember the necklace on my april 24 post? i said in my caption the next day that i will have the boys draw the lucky winner's name the next time they come. well, they were here today. they wanted to spend the whole day with grandpa and lola so that's what they did.
and good thing i remembered about the necklace! so the little one was just excited to do the honours of picking out a name. but just to let you know, they really cracked up when they saw the men's names and asked to see their pics (mike, howard and beau) and they were wishing one of the three guys would get the necklace.
if you were wondering about the names, these were all the commenters for that post, all 14 of you. going clockwise starting on the photo on the upper left, i wrote your names on equal size pieces of paper then rolled them tight and placed them on a deep plastic container, shook it good and let the little one pick out the winning roll; he even had a hard time unrolling it, then finally, the winner. mind you, both of them let out a sigh of relief when they saw that the name drawn, carolyn sue, was that of a woman. they still wanted to imagine how the necklace would look on the three guys! :-D

@pamfromcalgary - thank you, pam. the boys were really excited to see partner and me. the older one was constantly hanging on to their grandpa and the younger one was always holding my hand.
@olivetreeann - haha! the boys had fun imagining howard, especially. i showed them a picture of howard with his wife and their bikes, and the younger one just about died laughing and thinking howard would wear the necklace while in his leather jacket and sunglasses while riding the bike. they can't see jackie wearing it. children have such wild imagination. he asked if he can wear the necklace and just hammed it up it was so hilarious i just gave up taking any photos of them. thank you, ann.
