1928 by summerfield

1928

we saw this car on our way home from dropping the boys back. i took 50 shots of this car, mostly from behind. and mostly bad. partner didn't let up and he just kept following it. the driver caught early on that he or his car was being photographed. he tried to drive slow on the left lane, he drove in and out of lanes and at one point, partner got stuck behind a bicyclist and the driver took advantage of that by passing us and speeding up. partner is an excellent driver and he just kept at him until. the driver, an old man, must've been puzzled why he's being followed and photographed.

we reached a quiet neighbourhood and by this time, the battery of my canon had been blinking to signal that the power was waning. we reached a small parkette, and he parked in front of this house. walked away without looking at us. i told partner he might be going inside to get his shotgun. the plate says "ontario 1928" and on the bonnet of the car was the blue 'ford' logo.

partner is the best wingman a photographer (or in my case a photographist) can have when staking (or stalking) photo opps. now i'm caught up with my postings. the bigger challenge left is to catch up with your albums, albeit slowly.
Great shot of an awesome car

@cottoncandy - thank you, mischell.

@olivetreeann - thank you, ann. i think that partner was so intrigued about the car that's why he pursued it the way he did. well, i was the beneficiary of it all because i got a good photo out of it. and thank heavens the man didn't come back out with a shotgun!
