our two grandsons were with us yesterday morning. we picked them up to have breakfast and they wanted to play on their computers so we stayed home until they were picked up to go back to their mother.
little darren likes to browse through the 365 albums. he used to have one but it had long been removed by ross due to inactivity. i should see if i can have that revived as he really wants to go at it again.
he was not convinced with my posting for 'sea' on the 20th of june for the june-word challenge. he wanted us to go to the beaches and take a picture of the lake. i told lakes have fresh water and seas have salt water. he suggested i should've posted a picture of the sea from the philippines from my last vacation so i had to tell him the photo has to be taken in june. that's when he came up with an idea, complete with motions of the hand. why don't i hang my new hat ("by the way, lola, your hat is very pretty!") on the corner of the floor screen and take a picture of the two pictures of the sea. that way, i get a photo of the sea and it is taken in june.
Indeed! Brilliant. Out of the mouths of babes. :) Beautiful capture and perfect for the word challenge. Don't you just love it when they interact that way... I am amazed by some of the great things that kids say.
and the composition is wonderful, too. love the colors, how the black screen make such vivid contrasts against the deep blues, and yes, he is a brilliant young man already. he will set the world on fire!
