mulling comes to an end. this is the second of the three photos that i like best. not the best angle i took of the young girl but it was searing hot and i wanted to get back inside the building.

i like the look of the hat in this photo, it looks one that the late audrey hepburn might have worn in one of her movies. i love audrey hepburn. is there anyone these days who's measured up to her in style and beauty?

Beautiful pov, summerfield. And I love the hat, the lighting and the shadow. I love Audrey Hepburn as well ... no, I don't think that anyone measures up to her "class" or beauty today. I watch "Roman Holiday" everytime it re-runs on tv. So enjoyable!

@lesip - thank you, leslie. yes, she's on it. i wanted a shot for the album cover challenge so i asked her to sit for me. she likes the idea of having her pictures taken for free. when my post for one of the album cover made it to the top 5, i had several of her shots printed and i gave them to her. she was quite happy. i think i will do the same for this one.

@summerfield Thank you Vikki! And congratulations on making the top 6! I can't believe I'm on there. I've tried several of these artist challenges and never really enjoyed them- until this one. I guess I really liked this artist's still life work- that and the fact that #4 contained articles that I myself already had!!
