at the end of a busy, hot and humid day, nothing beats walking along the lake, watching the birds, the clouds and the sailboats, breathing in the fresh air, and listening to the waves as they kiss the shore. those and a big tub of ice cream perhaps!
i'm in a photographic rut and it frustrates me so. maybe because i had been writing the last couple of weeks, mostly meaningless, but writing nonetheless. i have to decide one day whether i would like to write or to photograph.
I think I'd like to take a cruise anywhere now! Do you really have to choose, or just work on time management? I know with me its just a matter of getting started. But this is a nice shot no matter what.
@olivetreeann - i've been wanting to do a cruise of the great lakes ever since i came here but have never done so. wanting of course is different from doing. time management: working takes a big chunk out of my time management. my boss is one of the big kahunas at the firm and although that doesn't make me a big kahuna, my work load is that of a big kahuna. mind you, i try to sneak onto 365 sometimes but i feel soooo guilty so i try to minimize doing that. :-) thank you so much, ann.
Lovely setting. A creative mind shall forever be a creative one. I hope you can find an easy solution that will allow you to fit your photography, writing and work together in such a manner that none suffer and of course that your sanity stays intact!
Sally said it perfectly! You are too creative to stop either the writing or photography. But you are also too honest to cheat the boss of the time he pays for you. I have a feeling that you will find a balance somehow- creative minds are like that!
i wonder if 365 is the balance of writing and photography? i know i can't wait each day to see your photo and read what you've written. you're so good at both. just my 2 cents worth.....
