that there is a barnacle. on the back of a crab. there are bigger barnacles on that crab. but this one is right on its back. where's the crab? gone, i ate it a long time ago. but i kept this shell. why, you ask? because i know it would be of use one day, and that day is today.
it must be a lazy crab for barnacles to grow on it. or maybe this particular barnacle likes crab, too. in any case, i'm not eating crab for a while. not because of this barnacle, but because i have to behave and bring that darn cholesterol down. although no one can tell me how eating a crab once in a while could bring my cholesterol up.
Seafood is good for cholesterol! I wonder if a barnacle is a shellfish? Is there something inside this shel! Its very interesting seen up close like this!

The Lazy Crab. Also a good name for a Seafood Restaurant. hee hee. When we went to France the first time, we took our son. He was 16 years old. The only French he knew was qu'est-ce que c'est ? So he 'd say it ALL THE TIME. And then they would answer him. And he had no clue what they were saying. Sometimes, Dan or I would..we know un petit peu ....WE took it in HS and College. We still do a lot of "qu'est-ce que c'est -ing? in our house? Just as as joke. After being attacked by trinket selling thugs the first trip, I added to my French with this phrase: "Laissez moi tranquille!' But I never had to use it. The second time, I did not have the film SLR with zoom lens on my neck all the time, just a small digital camera in a bag...and we walked with more purpose. But I was ready!
