Working from home and starting to feel quite chilly on this first day of autumn - had to put a cardigan on. Much to my surprise when I stopped for lunch in the garden, it was actually quite balmy and humid outside with odd sunny spells.
Took a mad leap of faith and booked Shrewsbury Folk Festival and a nearby cottage for next August.
