Highgate village

A brilliant sunshiny day - summer finally here. Picked up some luscious fruit from the farmers' market, then we drove to Highgate with my mum for Sunday lunch at the Gatehouse - an old Wetherspoon's that's been there ages and is a touch downmarket for Highgate, but they do do a good value lunch and have tables outside which was a big plus today.

A Brit won a big sporting thing today. Well I never. Good lad.

A rather understated mention of Bradleys achievements... This is a great looking building. Ripe for squatting.

Oh I like this....good old London architecture. Love the shabbiness of it and the patterned brickwork. Love your remark about Bradley!!! lol

You know how to spoil your mum! Nice bit of Dickens in your picture mind.

@judithg - ha ha - are you being sarcastic!? It's her favourite Sunday roast spot!

@boxplayer Well you didn't sell it as the most select venue in Highgate!!

@judithg - no joke - she loves it there - no chi-chi bistro for my mum when she's on a Sunday roast mission ....
