Knitted hurdlers by boxplayer

Knitted hurdlers

And we go live now to the Olympic stadium for the final of the women's 100m hurdles.

A revisit to the amazing Walthamstow knitted Olympics http://365project.org/boxplayer/365/2012-07-15 I think she must be knitting new players as we speak ...

More decluttering today, boy we've got a lot of shit. Watched the end of the women's road race - a better result than yesterday for Team GB with silver for an impressive Armitstead (interesting spelling of her name) then popped over to the Nag's Head for a few of the ales they've got for their real ale weekend - passing the amazing knitted hurdlers on the way. Back in time to watch the swimming heats and finals and another medal, bronze, for young Rebecca.

Those are amazing! As one who once struggled to knit little more than an afghan...and threw in the towel...I find this quite astounding!

@fannyb - I have to confess to no involvement in the knitted Olympics - much as it would be a great claim to fame. This is a lady in a neighbouring street who apparently knits her own versions of all major national events - there was a knitted jubilee too which I missed ....

Glad you enjoyed the prawns though!

These are just too brilliant! Is that a pair of legs sticking out of a swimming pool behind the hurdler?
