i had lunch with a friend today, just trying to catch up on things. mostly she made me catch up on things about her. i don't really update my friends on what's happening with me unless they ask "how's your photography coming along?" in any case, she paid for lunch so, i listened. that's what my friends like about me, i listen, or i make it appear i'm listening. :-)
we went to a place called east side mario's, a good block and a half from the office. it was not as crowded as we expected so that was a plus. i almost forgot to take a photo of my lunch and i had already dug on my food when i remembered. once again i was asked: 'is there anything sacred to you and your camera?' and i had to answer "no, nothing, but you can't ask me to take your photo naked because i won't, besides..." "besides what?" "never mind" and i gave her my best cheshire cat grin. hehehe.
friend (i refer to her as friend because after all she hasn't done anything offensive to me - like participate in playing prank on me and not saying sorry about it) ordered penne with shrimp and i ordered grilled salmon with steamed veggies and fetuccini alfredo. delicious! i asked for a little bit of freshly ground parmesan and the server gave me like a ton of it. i didn't finish my lunch as i ate the veggies first and just a tad over half of my salmon so i had the rest of it wrapped up for my lunch tomorrow, or breakfast :-)
so that's what i had for lunch today. how about you?

This is a "first class lunch!" Salmon is always my favorite at restaurants! Looks so good here...you've got great friends too. All that said, this is a wonderful photo. So tempting for me ... I just had a tuna salad sandwich and a bowl of soup. Yuck.
@cottoncandy - thank you, mischell. i stay away from people or friends most of the time. and once in a while i connect with them, just so they'd realize they missed me. :-) glad you saw your friend, too.
