Weekly Theme - Listen

Following our sequence of the five senses, this week we want you to focus on listen.

Whether we rely on listening out for danger or seek pleasure from hearing the music of our favourite bands, we really are lucky if we go through life with the ability to hear the world around us.

From our tools for listening - ears, hearing-aids, and headphones, to everything around us that makes distinctive noises, or perhaps no noise at all, we think this could be a really interesting theme to play with!

We can't wait to see your entries.

How to enter this week's theme

When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organise screen) and insert this week's theme tag: theme-listen.

Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded from Monday 14th August until the following Saturday (6 days). 5 finalists will be chosen on the Sunday afternoon (PST), then you get to vote for the winner.

Winner of the 'Forgotten' theme

Thanks for taking your time to cast a vote for the forgotten theme finalists. We're pleased to announce @sibyllineuncut as the winner!

Many of us will relate to the feeling of returning home to our doting pets, their love and excitement bursting through the door as they realise they haven't been forgotten. We love how this shot captures a sense of quietness and slowness as the dog waits patiently by the door.

As well as a powerful picture, a powerful poem accompanied this image and really stood out to the 365 community!
