this one because i've tried forever to capture one of these birds...this is a female eastern spinebill...next challenge is to get a good shot of a male
I'm happy I positioned the tulip in this way. I only added just a little color saturation and clipped a little off the bottom. Also, the tulips were from two friends of mine.
Just because the processing was so complex. Converted to tiff, edited in Audacity, opened in Paint to resave so PS could read then layered back with the original and then blended. Just for the fun of it!
I have been MIA lately, but returned following the death of my father, who I helped care for at home the last 6 years ... I went to London for aparticular shot [not this one btw] I got the shot I wanted, but I actually prefer this one
I like a bit of street photography when I get a chance and a trip to London is always a golden opportunity. I couldn't resist this young lady, she had such a haunted look about her.
This picture was taken as I was leaving the beach after capturing "The Green Flash" (see previous picture in my project) it was almost dark and I had to use a fill flash to pick up the actual color of the life guard stand. I just like the colorful structure set against the darkening day.

From my February Flash of Red project
Because it was such a great picture of my horse and I got to use a "painterly" app
I think I like this one the most...

It was fun putting this together and it didn't take as long as I originally expected!
The wind was blowing and it was raining but I was so pleased with this one.
Love a macro shot.
This was a pull over real quick shot.
