Many moons ago, when I first joined here, there was a thread that showcased people's walks. Back then I had no idea how to make a collage, or how to add to thread.
I thought I'd restart the "On my walk today I saw..." discussion during November and see how quickly we get around the world.
If you do go out on a walk this month, and take photos that show what you saw, please post in the thread below. No limit to the number of images, just all taken during one outing.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Fabulous idea Jackie, you saw more than I would see! Here walks are restricted to the estate, and it is lovely, but always the same. We cannot just go for walks as every other human being on this planet. We live in a rather sick society ;-)
Pattaya Bay Beach and surrounds, Thailand. On my walk today I saw a car that I liked in a colour that I didn't, a decorative overhead gantry, a copy of an artefact, a futurist design hotel, a long-established French restaurant, the beach being cleaned, paragliders, Ronald McDonald with a new friend and a buddha shrine.
Pattaya Beach, Chon Buri, Thailand. On my walk today I saw a misty view across the bay, a water trench on the beach from yesterday's rain, a cute baby poster, a model car, a food van, a man balancing a chair, a security guard at work, a lady putting on makeup, evidence of a lack of health and safety procedures and a toy stall of a type.
On my walk today I visited the Wat Nong Oo Temple; it is a twenty-minute walk from my place. Admission is free although I always make a donation. It is not commercialised at all and seems to get less publicity than other local temples.
The weather forecast was predicting heavy rain this morning; that did not materialise. Quite dull so a little focused on shops/hotels/stalls and other structures.
My walk today was somewhat dominated by the egrets at Naklua Bay. I also saw some street art, more-traditional Thai Buddha souvenirs, shops and the new footpath being constructed.
Mini Siam is a model village located on Sukhumvit just outside Pattaya, Thailand. If one of the aims of this challenge was to cover as many countries as possible, I think there will be quite a few hits, here. I took about 300 photographs and so far have not processed 100 through lightroom and photoshop. 4.3 kilometres were covered during the walk through the site.
@njmom3 looking forward to your images!!
I remember this subject a few years ago and I have done a few 'On my walk today I saw' collages since then.

A much clearer day today, with a little but not a significant amount of haze.
Pattaya Bay Area, Chon Buri, Thailand.

Not over happy with the first collage, so did a second.
Many thanks for running this. Unfortunately my walks are on hold following what I thought was a sore throat but unfortunately turned out to be covid.
