I was very pleased and impressed with the number of members who attempted Low Key technique for the very first time. It was a steep learning curve for them but they all came out with superb results.
So I am doing something just a little bit different for the voting. I separated those who used this challenge to learn low key from those who have used this technique before. I am sorry if I may have inserted your photo into the wrong category … I had nothing to go on except your comments and number of photos you have posted to 365.
I have given the newbies numbers to vote on as per usual and letters for the more experienced category. Please vote for both and you can put both your votes in the same comment box.
The photo with the most votes – be it newbie or experienced – will host the next B&W challenge. In event of a tie, the newbie gets the honour of hosting the challenge.
Thanks to all who participated. It was extremely difficult to choose finalists from this very competitive field. Each and every entry could have easily been chosen as a finalist. The selections are posted in the order in which they entered the challenge.
Voting will end at midnight Toronto/New York time on Saturday, Aug. 26th. Good luck to all finalists!
Thank you so much Wendy for all the thought and effort you have put into organizing this challenge. Thanks for including mine in such a nice line-up. Thanks to Ann for all her advice. I learnt so much!
